Welcome

WELCOME! I make handmade Kusudama origami paper flower bouquets and other items.

Kusudama origami originated from ancient Japanese culture. It is not exact origami as the units are fused together, but it is still respected as an ingenious traditional paper folding craft in the origami family.

Time For a Break!

I am coming up on my TWO year anniversary with Etsy and I can't believe all the things I have done! I have made some beautiful things over the past two years, met some amazing people, and had so much fun. It's also been a whole lot of hard work!

Which is why I've decided to go on vacation!

I have put my shop on vacation mode, but I will still be checking back every few days to see what's going on. I love that place and don't plan on staying gone for long.

For now, I would say fall is probably the soonest I will be back to work officially.

My brother's baby girl is due in less than a month and that's just about all I can think of right now! This means lots of trips down to Portland to visit them. Also, spring conferences are coming, which means spring break and the last little push to summer and I learned my lesson last year. No work in the summer!

Instead we will be camping, playing, eating, sitting in the sun by the water, taking vacations and trips to the zoo. We will be care free and having fun.

Don't you worry though. I will come back, and I will be bringing some really new, exciting things with me. Branching out my shop to include all my many talents. In fact, paper flowers, might not even make it back with me!

I'm not ready to share what my thoughts are just yet. There is a lot of planning and detail that I have to work out, but trust me, it's going to be fun.

I hope everyone has an amazing spring/summer and I will see you all again soon!
