Welcome

WELCOME! I make handmade Kusudama origami paper flower bouquets and other items.

Kusudama origami originated from ancient Japanese culture. It is not exact origami as the units are fused together, but it is still respected as an ingenious traditional paper folding craft in the origami family.

The New Year Begins

I am back from vacation!

I already feel the rumble of orders and I'm so ready to get back into things. Having some time off was so wonderful, though. I spent the holidays with my kids and my yarn. It was very relaxing, but now it's time to dive back into the flowers I love so much!

This week I have been working on a sweet little project.

I got this very cute fabric in the mail sent to my by an expecting mommy. This is the fabric she is using in her nursery. Isn't it just so cute?

So she asked if I would make up some Wall Flowers to go with this fabric. And of course I did!

I love how they turned out. So sweet and absolutely lovely. I can't wait for her to hang them in the baby's room.

Aside from this, I am working on a few things for Valentine's Day. I don't think I will make very many items since I'm not sure what the holiday holds for sales and I have several orders for other things coming in. I will take it one step at a time. If anyone has any requests I will certainly take those in, of course.

I will post about little V-Day lovelies very, very soon! AND... There will be another giveaway too! So keep an eye out for that.
